The Haunted Room, available for free every Halloween. Their goal is to spread truth and hope during a time of celebration of darkness. As believers in Jesus Christ, we do not have to cower on this dark night, we can shine! Use this Halloween as an opportunity to share Christ's light with someone (you can even use lamplighter's printable giveaway cards).
The Haunted Room is one of my favorites and the characters are so very relatable! In this story you will meet the three Trevor siblings who all come face-to-face with the dark chambers of sin in their hearts, as well as a real, supposedly haunted, hidden chamber in their new home. You will be drawn into the story as the mysteries unravel, both inwardly and outwardly, and you will discover the hidden dangers of besetting sins, as well as the power to overcome them.
Lamplighter also has a short film entitled Defy the Darkness. The message of the video is that believers in Jesus can defy the darkness with His light. The theme verse is Isaiah 9:2 "The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light..." Watch the video below!
Don't be afraid to defy the darkness.
"Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life" (John 8:12).
