My Faith (Poem)

This is a short poem I composed a couple of years ago:

My Faith

If I don't have my faith in Jesus

Or know that He is in my heart,

If I don't have this bless'd assurance

Or know for sure He lives, then what?

My life's sole purpose would be empty.

My hope and peace would be for naught.

But, praise the Lord, I know He's living,

And my faith stands secure and strong.
